https じゃないとなあ

Firefox の Gmail Notifier から一瞬ログインできなくてなんでだろと思って、Personalized Home のほうから Gmail を見に行ったら、http で Gmail にログインできた。

ああこれがそうか。
いろいろなところで https じゃないと Chat できないよというのを読んでいたから、わかってはいたんだけど……。うーん。

You should also check that you're using http:// when you log in -- chat in Gmail doesn't work in https://.

もう一度 Gmail Notifier ログインしたら、普通に https でログインできた。
そうか。使い分ければいいのか。webブラウザから Chat したいときだけ、http でログインすればいいのか。でもなんか微妙。
